How I work

I create the rooms where leaders make sense of AI.

Together, we work out what AI means for your organisation, where it could create value, and how to lead the choices and change that follow.

What happens inside a room

Use it. Talk about it. Make sense of it. Decide deliberately.

You can't work out what AI means for your organisation by reading about it.

It can be hard to say what you don't yet know in the rooms you lead. I create confidential spaces where you can ask questions, stress-test ideas, explore concerns and think out loud. You use AI on your own work, then we make sense of what happens together - what helped, what failed, what surprised you and what it means for your responsibilities. With a team or board, we bring different starting points and perspectives into the same conversation.

01

Use it

Build firsthand experience - using AI on work that matters to your role, in ways that could add value across your organisation.

02

Talk about it

Talk honestly about what helped, what went wrong and what concerns you. I guide the discussion, challenge assumptions and help you learn from different perspectives.

03

Make sense of it

Work through what AI changes for your strategy, your people and the way you work - where it could add value, which risks matter and what this means for your responsibilities.

04

Decide deliberately

Choose where AI belongs - what to pursue, pause or stop, what needs to change and what stays human.

The work also creates space for you, the human leading this change - your concerns, your confidence and what AI means for your own work and value, alongside the choices you need to make for your organisation.

I bring 25 years of executive, transformation and crisis leadership, hands-on AI fluency and skilled coaching and facilitation. I know what it takes to make decisions under uncertainty and lead people through change. That experience shapes how I work with you.

One client's pathway

How one organisation built its way forward.

We work with your context, resources and priorities to identify the most important work to do next. For this organisation, that meant understanding its people, building leadership capability and designing a practical change framework.

01 · Understand

Human Readiness Snapshot

A picture of how people were using and experiencing AI, giving leaders evidence to work with.

02 · Build capability

Leadership Circle

Firsthand AI work and shared exploration of what it meant for leadership and the organisation.

03 · Design the change

Change framework

A framework to guide how the organisation approaches change and equips its leaders.

One organisation commissioned a Human Readiness Snapshot, then a Leadership Circle, then a change framework. Each piece of work informed what came next.

In their words

How the work makes a difference.

"The AI discovery process brought clarity to what had previously felt like a broad and somewhat abstract conversation about AI. It reframed AI not as a technology initiative, but as a question of strategic risk appetite and long-term positioning. Sue brought a deeply strategic lens and a strong focus on the human implications - which kept the discussion grounded in our mission and values rather than the technology itself."

Ruth KestermanCOO, Plan International Australia · AI Strategic Discovery

"Sue's advisory approach enabled the essential transition and confidence to apply AI for my personal productivity. The hands-on approach helped me understand the shifts in the way of working that we are imposing on our teams at scale when we introduce AI into the workplace."

Sandeep SinghGroup Officer, BHP · Private AI Advisory

"Sue has an exceptional ability to bring focus and clarity, helping us move comfortably into the unknown - to experiment, trial and iterate with confidence. She was pivotal in helping me integrate AI into workflows, decision-making, content development and client delivery in ways that are strategic, ethical and genuinely value-adding."

Margot AndersenFounder and CEO, Insync Network Group · Private AI Advisory

"The AI Leadership Circle gave me permission to experiment, practical tools and the skills to support others on their AI journey as a leader. The group sessions were excellent, with fellow participants sharing inspiring real-life examples of how they were using AI in their work that I could carry over into my context."

Nicola NorrisDirector of Fundraising and MarketingAustralia for UNHCRAI Leadership Circle

"Sue helped me move from dabbling with AI to deploying it deliberately into my working week - building my tech stack, applying guardrails, managing data. She has been a patient and wise partner to work with, making suggestions and challenging my thinking without telling me what to do."

Jo-Anne BlochChair and Non-Executive Director · Private AI Advisory

"The AI Leadership Circle is particularly helpful for people in leadership roles who are trying to lead and grow their own skills while also being responsible for others. The impact of me doing the course is that I talk to my team more openly. We just talk about AI like another tool - versus this kind of shadow thing in the background."
